How to Find Your Steam Trade URL

Where to find your Steam trade URL (trade offer link) on desktop and mobile, how to copy and renew it. A direct link to the trade offer settings.

Updated Sep 27, 2026

A trade URL (trade offer link) lets someone send you a trade offer without adding you as a friend. Sites and bots need it to send you items.

The quick way

Open the Steam trade offer settings — you land right at the field. Copy the link in the «Third-Party Sites» block.

In a browser or the Steam client

  1. Click your name at the top → Inventory.
  2. Click Trade Offers → «Who can send me Trade Offers?».
  3. Copy the link in the «Third-Party Sites» block.

In the Steam mobile app

Open the menu → Inventory → Trade Offers → «Who can send me Trade Offers?» and copy the link. If the item is missing, open the quick link above in your phone's browser.

A trade URL is not a profile link

Do not mix them up: a profile link (steamcommunity.com/id/… or /profiles/…) only opens your page; nobody can send you an offer through it without being friends. Sites need the trade offer link with the token parameter.

Why sites need a trade URL

A bot can send you a trade offer only through your trade URL or if you are friends. The link gives no access to your account: it only lets someone propose a trade, and you decide in Steam whether to accept or decline.

What the link looks like

It starts with https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/ and contains the partner and token parameters. Paste it in full.

Also check

  • Your inventory must be public: profile settings → Privacy → Inventory → Public. Otherwise the site cannot see your items.
  • «Create New URL» makes the old link invalid. If you clicked it, update the link wherever it is saved.
  • Sharing a trade URL is safe — it only lets people send you an offer. Never share your password or Steam Guard codes.

If you get unwanted offers

Anyone with your trade URL can send you offers. If you get spam, click «Create New URL» — the old link stops working. Then update the link on the sites you use.

Where to paste it here

In Steam accounts: your main account plus up to 10 more, each with its own link. The site checks the profile and the public inventory and tells you in plain words if something is wrong.

Why a link «does not work»

  • It belongs to another Steam account — the site checks it against the account you are connecting.
  • The link was reset — copy the new one and update it on the site.
  • The inventory is private or the TF2 backpack is full — free accounts have 50 slots, Premium ones 300.

On our exchange you add the trade URL in Steam accounts, after which you can deposit and sell keys.
